Day 01: Yangon Arrival (D)

Upon your arrival in Yangon, our tour guide will welcome you for your hotel transfer.

The tour Myanmar River and Temple commences with a highlighted visit to the holy pagoda of  Shwedagon, the most iconic site in Yangon, boasting its rich history from 6th century and the symbol of city with its golden flash.

Day 02: Yangon city tour (B)

After breakfast, we enjoy our visits to Yangon`s most impressive landmarks starting from Sule Paya,   built over 2,000 years ago and being the focal point of numerous historical events in the city. After that, we have time to behold Yangon Old Quarter which is stuffed with many charming historical buildings whose history dated back to British colonial era. During our guided walking tour, our guide will introduce you one of the busiest street market which is full  merchants and food stalls.

After visit to People park and Kandawgyi Garden, we will head Chaukhtatgyi pagoda, known for its giant reclining Buddha statue. Conclude our sightseeing day by Scott, the biggest market in Yangon.

Day 03: Yangon – Bagan Tour

This morning, we will fly to Bagan, the richest archaeological area in Myanmar which is full of holy temples and pagodas.

Kick off your sightseeing with a visit to Dhamyazeka zedi which provides a grand views to the sacred plain of Bagan then learning more about this land at Bagan Archeological museum. The Shwezigon which is purported to contain a holy tooth relic of the Buddha will be our next stop.

Your bagan tour guide will show you how local people produce the Bagan’s famous lacquerware crafts in Myingaba village.

Continue our day to Htilominlo temple to discover the art of sand paintings and majestic Ananda temple with its four standing Buddha images that seem to gaze at the viewer with fixed serenity wherever the viewer stands.

Sunset in Bagan is the most impressive moment and you are free to choose some hidden spot to photograph this haunting scene.

Day 04: Bagan – Irrawaddy River Cruise

This morning is left for your own leisure until the time we embark on a river cruise to travel northward. En route, you will have chance to visit a typical river village.

Day 05: Cruise to Mandalay

Cruise all day with stop enroute in the morning to visit Yandabo, a typical river village specialize in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826. Moor overnight nearby a village (Ywar Thit Gyi or Pauk Myaing Pauk Taw) few miles away from Ava Bridge.

Day 06: Mandalay Disembark – Ava – Ubein Bridge

Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at Sagaing Jetty or Gawein jetty .

Spend the rest of the day to travel back to the past in Ava, known as Inwa, the Shan and Burmese Kingdoms for over four centuries. We cross over the Myint Nge River by ferry and explore the small roads of Ava by horse cart.

The sightseeing in this area covers Bagaya Teak Monastery, Nanmyin Watch Tower which is famous as “Leaning Tower of Ava” and the Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery,building with its graceful curves and archways.

Day 07: Mandalay city tour – Inle Lake

This morning, we take a stroll through the lively Zegyo market and artisan quarter before heading to the typical workshops of teakwood carving,  embroidering Myanmar tapestry. We also see how bronze and marble Buddha statues are carved, cast and molded.

From here we travel to Mahamuni pagoda, housing one of the most significant Buddha images in the country, covered in several tons of gold leaf and the crown prize in long past wars between competing Myanmar kingdoms.

Conclude your morning sightseeing with a visit to Mandalay Royal Palace.

In the afternoon, taking a flight to Heho and connect a scenic car transfer to your resort

Day 08: Inle Lake – Indein market – Yangon

After breakfast we journey out by boat, snaking through small canals and floating gardens to reach Indein pagoda complex. Access the typical 5 days rotating market before ascending the mountain peak where the holy pagoda is situated.

As we travel back to the lake side, continue our boat trip to Phaung daw Oo pagoda, home to some of the country’s most sacred Buddha statues covered in gold leaf by devout followers. We also make a visit to the Inpawkhone weaving village to see how lotus fabrics are crafted.

After the exploration of Nam Pan village which is famous for Burmese cigars, or “cheroots,” we head to the airport for the flight to Yangon

Day 09: Yangon departure

This day is left free for your own exploration of Yangon until our driver picks you up for your departure flight
